Friday, 6/21, the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management will implement Stage I restrictions - the lowest level of restrictions - to state-owned and managed lands in a handful of counties.
Due to the uptick in fire activity in the Northwestern portion of Maricopa County, the Department of Forestry and Fire Management plans to hold a public meeting in Wittmann, next week, in an effort to reduce the number of fire starts in the area.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12, 2019, from 6:00-7:30 pm. It will take place in the gymnasium of Nadaburg Elementary School, located at 21419 W. Dove Valley Road, Wittmann, AZ.
