Forestry and Community Forestry

Arizona Forest Action Plan

The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management worked closely with partner organizations and stakeholder groups to develop the 2010 Arizona Forest Resource and Assessment. The assessment and strategy document addresses national private forest conservation priorities; is a useful tool to a wide range of individuals, agencies and organizations; and provides the basis of future work in Arizona to address our forest resource issues.

A Status Report and Strategy Addendum was completed by the Department of Forestry and Fire Management and partners in November 2015. Input was compiled from dozens of agencies and stakeholder organizations that are contributing to these collaborative statewide efforts.
