Hazard Fuels Mitigation Grants

The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management oversees grant programs that fund hazardous forest fuels mitigation treatments to protect communities at risk of wildland fire.

 

The two primary programs typically offer application opportunities on an annual basis:

  • State Fire Assistance - Western Wildland Urban Interface Program 
  • Wildland Fire Hazardous Fuels Program
