Arizona's Urban and Community Forestry Program has two grant programs that help us achieve strategic priorities identified in the Arizona Forest Action Plan.

The Community Challenge Grant (CCG) Program focuses on activities to encourage and promote citizen involvement in supporting long-term and sustainable urban and community forestry programs at the local level.

The Tree Resource Enhancement and Engagement (TREE) Grant Program provides assistance to currently recognized Tree City USA communities and Tree Campus USA campuses with the management, improvement, or conservation of community trees.

The Department of Forestry and Fire Management, in collaboration with partners, also provides grant funding for projects that enhance lands, manage natural resources, and promote partnership building in strategic and priority locations identified in the Arizona Forest Action Plan.

Working with the Southeastern Arizona Natural Resources Coordinating Committee, also known as SEA NRCC, the Partnership Building Grants support efforts that emphasize the protection of local natural resources and ensures that working landscapes near Fort Huachuca remain viable.
