Phoenix, AZ (7/2/18) - As we inch closer to the 4th of July holiday, the Department of Forestry and Fire Management wants to remind the public that the fire danger remains extremely high and dry conditions persist across the state.
Oystershell scales, or OSS, have been found in the Flagstaff area. OSS develops on the bark of many common tress and can cause serious injuries during outbreaks.
Phoenix, AZ (6/8/18) - Firefighters are working to contain a wildfire near the town of Bisbee that started after a dry lightning system moved through the area on Thursday, June 7th.
Maricopa County and Mohave County, south of the Haulapai Indian Reservation and south of the Colorado River, are now under Stage II Fire Restrictions.
Stage I Fire Restrictions are in place for the Northern portions of Coconino and Mohave Counties.
