Arizona State Forestry announced that it has reached agreement in a settlement of multiple claims and legal proceedings arising out of the 2013 Yarnell Hill Fire that was fatal to 19 members of the Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew.
PHOENIX – In a historic meeting, the Arizona State Parks Board yesterday named the future site of the Yarnell Hill Memorial. By unanimous vote, the Board adopted “Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial State Park” as the official site name.
